We are a community CHOSEN to SERVE and embody the hands and feet of Jesus. Our mission at CHOSEN4SERVICE is to teach Scripture, lead souls to salvation, and serve others. Our vision is to inspire individuals seeking to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ to share their testimonies and use their voices for the glory of God!
Our core values are To SEEK, To SAVE, and To SERVE! #SeekSaveServe. As followers of Christ, we believe in the call to "SEEK first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you (Matthew 6:33). We strive to become disciples who follow Christ's example, as illustrated in Luke 19:10: "For the Son of Man came to SEEK and to SAVE the lost," and in Matthew 20:28: "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to SERVE and to give His life as a ransom for many."

About Us
BUT YOU ARE A CHOSEN PEOPLE!
Originally launched as a podcast in 2020, Chosen4Service Ministries held its first church service on January 19, 2025. Chosen4Service is a non-denominational, multicultural, and multigenerational church led by Pastor Charles and Co-Pastor Shenica Trammell. We have a divine mandate to extend a "helping hand" to those in need, offer compassion to the hurting, and deliver a message of empowerment to the forgotten and the "least of these," as outlined in Matthew 25:40-45.
Our core scripture is 1 Peter 2:9: "But you are a CHOSEN people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light." In essence, as believers, we are CHOSEN by God—not by our own merit—to SEEK first the Kingdom of God, declare His praises, and share our testimonies to help SAVE the lost and SERVE others! #SeekSaveServe
Meet Our Staff
Charles Trammell Jr Pastor
Charles was born to Pastor Mamie Pennington and Charles Trammell Sr. in Lanett, Alabama. During his formative years, he was taught the Word of God by his mother, uncle, and grandparents. As a teenager, Charles felt a divine call on his life to share the Gospel, but he initially chose to follow a different path.
In 1994, while in high school, Charles fell in love with his high school sweetheart, Shenica. They married in 1998 and are blessed with three wonderful children: Charles III, Serenity, and Trinity. Over the years, Charles could no longer ignore the call on his life and made the decision to fully surrender to Christ. He returned to school and earned two master’s degrees and a Doctorate of Ministry.
In 2011, he was licensed and ordained as a minister at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Asheville, North Carolina, by Pastor Odell Suber Sr. It was there that he preached his first sermon and became one of the associate pastors. Charles continued to preach and teach the Gospel at his home church, Faith Congregational Church in Valley, Alabama, where he was licensed and ordained by Pastor Mamie Pennington as the pastor of Chosen4Service Ministries.
Shenica Trammell Co-Pastor
Like her husband, Shenica also grew up in Lanett, Alabama. From a young age, she attended church and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. In 1994, she met her high school sweetheart and future husband, Charles Trammell Jr. After graduation, Shenica enlisted in the Air Force, where she served our country on active duty for over 22 years before retiring in 2019.
As an Air Force veteran, Shenica continues to serve her country as a federal civilian employee and supports the Kingdom of God as Co-Pastor of Chosen4Service Ministries alongside her husband, Charles Trammell Jr. In 2020, she was licensed and ordained as a Chaplain with the International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC). She was later licensed as a Minister in 2024 and ordained as a Pastor of Chosen4Service Ministries in 2025 by Pastor Mamie Pennington. Shenica identifies as a “Woman after God’s Own Heart,” forging her own path in ministry with the goal of leading others to Christ. Her personal motto is, “When you see me, you see Christ, and when you hear me, you hear the voice of Christ.” She describes herself as an “ordinary” person who aspires to perform works that are pleasing to God.
Charles and Shenica have three children and have built their family on the Word of God. They now believe it is time to focus on bringing others to Christ, hoping that His presence is represented in all they do and say.

I am reminded of Matthew 25:40-45, where Jesus tells His disciples: “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
“They will also answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’”
